Moving a group around New York City is harder than moving one or two people. Everyone has to arrive at the same place, at the same time, with their luggage. For groups, the real choice is usually between a Sprinter van with a driver and a limousine. This guide explains when each one makes sense so you can book the right vehicle.
The Sprinter Van at a Glance
Our Sprinter van carries up to 14 passengers and 14 bags. That makes it the right fit when your group would otherwise need two or three separate vehicles. One vehicle, one pickup, one drop-off, and one chauffeur keeps everyone together.
- Capacity: up to 14 passengers
- Luggage: up to 14 bags
- Best for: airport groups, corporate teams, wedding parties, tours, and event transportation
When a Sprinter Van Is the Better Choice
A Sprinter is the practical choice whenever headcount and luggage are the main concern.
- Airport group transfers: a family or team landing together can travel in one vehicle with all of their bags, including at JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark
- Corporate groups: executives and clients arrive together for meetings, conferences, and corporate travel
- Weddings: guest and wedding party transportation between the hotel, ceremony, and reception, as described on our wedding limo page
- Sightseeing: group NYC tours where everyone wants to ride together
- Group outings: casino trips and bachelorette or bachelor nights with a larger crew
When a Limousine Is the Better Choice
A limousine is built around the experience of arriving in style. It suits smaller parties and special occasions, such as prom night, anniversaries, and evenings out in the city. Capacity varies by limousine, so confirm the number of seats for the exact vehicle when you book. If the occasion matters more than the headcount, a limousine is usually the answer.
What If Your Group Is Bigger Than 14?
If you have more than 14 passengers, look at our buses. For groups that split naturally, you can also combine vehicles, such as a Sprinter plus an executive SUV, and let us coordinate the timing.
Airport Groups: Wait Time and Drop-Off
For airport pickups, wait time is free for 30 minutes on domestic flights and 60 minutes on international flights. Groups often need extra time to gather everyone and every bag, so this matters. When you are heading to the airport, your chauffeur can drop the whole group at the departure level outside your terminal.
Tolls and Pricing
Each vehicle in our fleet is priced differently, so a Sprinter van, a limousine, and an SUV will each have their own rate. Request a quote for the vehicle that fits your group. Your quote includes tolls, airport parking, and complimentary wait time for airport pickups.
What to Tell Us When You Book a Group Ride

- Your date, pickup time, and flight number if it is an airport trip
